Visual Library
As a visual-learner with ADD, I thought this may be helpful to understand some of the concepts, tools, jargon, and other fun you will find along this path towards mental wellness.

In the Looking Ahead Class, you can create whatever you choose. Some like a board they can look at before they leave the house. Others may prefer a little book they can keep in their bag and update at will. Others still, may prefer a combination of the two. The key to success is reflecting on the past, in all areas of your life; determining what you wish to improve, maintain, or reimagine for yourself; then come up with a solid plan using measurable and attainable goals for yourself.

The important areas of your life to consider for the Looking Ahead Class include: - Emotional - Mental - Physical - Spiritual - Social - Financial - Practical

Once you have reflected and the tough stuff, you get a chance to create a visual that will work for you. Because these classes can get pretty personal, they tend to be smaller groups and/or team-building events.

Even though my purpose is to guide you toward a path of wellness and provide plenty for you to reflect on, I strive to bring fun into the experience.

This class was for individuals and they certainly took the reflecting and considering the year ahead, seriously. Even when this group got ahold of the stickers, markers, words, etc. it was all business. Maybe because they are military. The best part was seeing how they supported each other through the process!

Most of my classes have the same basic supplies i.e. paper, ephemera, prompts, adhesives, pens, etc. However, each class has a unique set of instructions and follow-up. My Looking Forward Classes are my most deep-thinking. As with anything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it. I'm not there to be a taskmaster or see who I can make cry. I'm simply the guide to provide tools for your journey and it can be as light or heavy as you need it to be.
